Fibreholics - a yarn trader with a difference! It all started because Agnes could not get the selection of yarns she wanted to use in her weaving in New Zealand and therefore started importing them from overseas. Soon her weaving friends wanted some as well and that is how it all started. This is a mail order service and the yarns are also being sold at Creative Fibre Festivals and other textile venues where there are trades stalls. Many of the yarns are in stock but if not they have to be ordered in and that can take several weeks, so please plan your projects well in advance in order to avoid dissappointment. is a high lustre, soft yarn. Length about 15'000m/kg and available in over 40 different colours plus natural. This yarn is mainly used for weaving but can also be used as an embroidery yarn or machine knitting yarn and is available on ca 100gr spools.
For weaving use as warp and/or weft for scarves, shawls, clothing and decorative material etc. Sett between 24 and 40 ends per inch, depending on weave structure and pattern
